It is ‘what isn’t here’ that makes us unique. - Little Cayman is one of the last ‘undeveloped’ Islands in the Caribbean. It is ‘what isn’t here’ that makes us unique. No shopping malls, movie theaters, or amusement parks can be found here. What can be found here is World Class snorkeling and diving at Bloody Bay Wall, miles of deserted beaches, native iguanas that out number residents, bird life that draws birdwatchers from around world, and fantastic fishing ranging from Deep Sea fishing for Marlin to fishing for bonefish from the beach right in front of the Villas. Little Cayman also stands out because along with everything that ‘is and isn’t here’; guests can expect a well stocked grocery store, good drinking water, and a safe, friendly environment. Boasting a permanent population of less than 150, Little Cayman is like a small town with a tropical twist!
Our twelve oceanfront villas are located a mere 50 feet from the Sea. They each feature a large front and back porch, air conditioning, and a kitchenette equipped with a coffee maker, toaster, microwave oven, refrigerator/freezer, as well as necessary kitchen dishes and utensils. The well stocked grocery store is a 2 minute walk from the resort. By preparing breakfast and possibly some other meals in your villa, you can avoid having to purchase expensive all inclusive meal plans. This can significantly lower the cost of your holiday. There are bicycles available to tour the Island (the preferred mode of travel) and of course, there are siesta friendly hammocks at the water’s edge.
The Hungry Iguana Restaurant is the only a la carte restaurant on Little Cayman and it is also the only restaurant with seaside dining. You do not need reservations and there is no bell that rings telling you that it is time to eat (like the other resorts with meal plans). The ‘Iggy’ has a full Lunch and Dinner menu as well as nightly specials. Fare ranges from local (fish and seafood) to traditional items (steak, soups, salads, sandwiches). You can eat on the large outdoor patio, inside the air conditioned dining room, or in the separate non smoking dining room. The Bar is open from noon until late each day and it has satellite TV on Little Cayman’s only big screen.
The diving and snorkeling around Little Cayman and especially in the Bloody Bay Marine Park is world renowned. Bloody Bay and Jackson’s Bay dive sites start in as little as 15 feet of water and the diving conditions are typically excellent. This makes diving here good for both beginners and advanced divers. All of the diving publications (including Undercurrent) rate the diving here as tops in the Caribbean region year after year. Our affiliation with Conch Club Divers is a turnkey service, divers are picked up and are dropped off right at their villa. They have one of the largest and fastest dive boats on the Island (Sea-esta) and their dive staff have been here on Little Cayman for many years. Top quality service with top quality diving makes diving with us a ‘must’ on your list of dive places to go in the World. Snorkelers are welcome on the dive boat space permitting.
