Two vacation homes available for rent... -
Both of our houses are modestly but comfortably furnished and equipped with amenities, including high-speed Internet service and cable TV. The kitchens are each fully-equipped, including conveniences of microwave ovens, blenders and coffee makers.
The three-acre hilltop compound affords unobstructed views, large yards and an unusual measure of freedom and privacy. You are less than ten minutes from any of Virgin Gorda's best beaches as well as numerous restaurants and shopping areas. The Cedar House is constructed of red cedar from British Columbia. Along with living, dining, and kitchen areas there are three generous bedrooms and two baths (See the house floorplan).
Expansive decks extend the length of the house affording commanding views in all directions. Beyond the surrounding Valley area, you view Gorda Peak and Virgin Gorda's north end, the island-dotted Caribbean Sea, and the open Atlantic Ocean.
All exterior walls are full-length louvered windows, allowing for the regulation of light and breeze. The Boulder House, was built surrounding a large boulder, it features two bedrooms, along with a living room, dining room, kitchen, and bath (See the house floorplan).
This house, too, has decks that face both of the seas as well as overlooking the Valley, Gorda Peak and the north end of the island. |

| Amenities: Rental includes full exclusive use of either the CedarHouse or the Boulder House and includes full use of household equipment, utilities, linens, and limited daily maid service(Mon.-Sat.). The kitchens are well-equipped, and each house has free wireless and wired DSL Internet service available(bring your laptop) and cable TV. House rental currently also includes the free use of a family vehicle. Guests will be billed atcost for long distance calls. |
| Entertainment: With the exception of the famous Baths, the beaches are seldom crowded. Available activities include sailing, windsurfing, diving, deep sea fishing,tennis, riding, and dancing under the stars to a steel band.A variety of restaurants is available for dining out.There are several small shopping areas where food and supplies can be purchased. Snorkeling equipment and other water sports equipment can be rented. |
| Other Comments: My family and I spent the later half of July and the first half of August, 2006 in Cedar House. We loved it, and I don't think we would consider staying anywhere else on Virgin Gorda in the future. The house is delightfully cooled by the tradewinds, and the views are magnificent. The beds were even good for our somewhat fragile backs! Everything is convenient to the house, and the having a housekeeper really made things easy. We have stayed in a number of houses on a number of islands, and this is one of the two best of all time. David Cannell, Santa Barbara, CA
We are home and had a wonderful time. It is so nice to reference the Hunter Homes and get immediate recognition and support from anywhere on the island. The home is as always situated in the perfect place. Irma was wonderful, professional and helpful. Thank you again for your flexibility and for the opportunity to visit the best of the BVI. Deposits: 50% of your total rental fee is required.
Payment Policies: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, personal checks.
Cancellations: Cancellations six months or more in advance are refunded less a $100 cancellation fee.
Cancellations between 3 and 6 months prior to arrival date will be refunded less a $100 cancellation fee only if the space is re-rented;however, during this time frame any money on deposit can be used towards a future reservation for up to one year between the dates Apr 15 - Dec 15.
