The top and middle floors each have 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a full kitchen, living room and dining area and ocean view terrace apartments. At the third level are another 2 bedrooms, pool side level, each with a private bathroom. Sleep 12 in modern comfort & style! The top floor and middle floor each have 2 spacious bedrooms, each with a quality queen size bed. The top and middle floors each have one beautiful bathroom with a slate shower & designer sink. The top and middle floor each have a modern equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances & dishwasher! The 2 bedrooms at the pool level, each have a gorgeous 4 poster queen bed & private bath & AC, each opens out to the pool! Less than a 2 minute drive down to Sandy Beach (just over a 1/2 mile), restaurants, & bars. The hilltop location affords you beautiful ocean views & breezes. Book early to assure availability! Private 12' x 24' pool with swim up bar! The pool is divided into three sections, the first is only 6 inches deep, the 2nd section 1.5 ft deep and the last area with the swim up bar is 5 ft deep. Casa La Tortuga now with Wi-Fi and plug-in internet access! This home is in a residential neighborhood. Quiet hours are 11PM-8 AM. Loud parties or groups will not be tolerated. This home has backup water but not power.
Everyone knows Rincon is a great winter escape, but come enjoy Rincon the rest of the year, too!. Treat yourself to the tranquility & beauty when the crowds leave. Travel here in the spring, summer, or autumn & you'll experience a quieter side of Rincon. July is busy & fun when the San Juan families come out to enjoy some beach time, but most other times you will play on almost empty beaches. Early August, the kids return to school, & it's quiet. When the winter waves are gone, Rincon enjoys some of the best snorkeling & diving in the world. Steps Beach at the Tres Palmas Marine Reserve has the best stand of Elk Horn coral close into an island in the world (according to the NOAA researcher who's been following it for over 15 years!). Take one of the local diving boats out to Desecheo Island, only 11 miles off the coast, & enjoy visibility of 100+ ft all the time. Rincon is a year round destination with something for everyone. | Entertainment: Rincon is famous for sunsets, beautiful beaches both for swimming and surfing, whale watching in the winter, all sorts of water activities such as scuba diving, snorkeling, jet skiing, banana boat rides, deep sea fishing, and more! The Humpback whales come down late December to about mid-March. A real treat to see! The new Tres Palmas Marine Preserve is a great spot to go snorkeling and see some of the fantastic sea life we are famous for just feet off shore! You may be as busy or relaxed as you choose in Rincon. Various delicious restaurants await you all over town, and you may take wonderful day trips to different parts of the island. Mayaguez is 20 minutes to the south of us with shopping malls, cinemas, casinos and more. Close enough to be handy, far enough away to keep Rincon a nice little town! The Arecibo Observatory (setting for James Bond's Golden Eye and Jody Foster in Contact) and the Camuy Caves are just 1.5 hour drive, a great day trip for Wednesdays - Sundays .Everyone knows Rincon is a great winter escape, but come enjoy Rincon the rest of the year, too!. Information |
Deposits: 50% deposit by Visa, MasterCard or Discover.
Payment Policies: Reservation Rules: A deposit of 50% is required at the time of reservation by Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. The balance is due 30 days before arrival by same credit card. If less than 30 days until check-in, payment in full is due at time of reservation. No reservations should be assumed until the initial deposit or payment is made and a signed contract is received by the renter from Island West Properties. Please do not make any travel plans that can not be changed until you have received your signed contract. Home can not be held without a deposit. First payment will have the reservation.
Cancellations: CANCELLATIONS: if ninety (90) or more days notice is received, 10% of the rental shall be retained. If there is less than 90 days notice, 20% of the rental shall be retained ONLY if the unit is subsequently rented. If we can not rent the unit, we shall retain the entire deposit. EXCEPTIONS: FOR RESERVATIONS BETWEEN DEC. 15 AND JAN. 7, ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. NO EXCEPTIONS. In case of cancellation, notice must be received by ISLAND WEST PROPERTIES, INC. in writing by certified, return receipt mail.
Arrival/Departure: We have someone to meet you once you get into Rincon and take you to your vacation home with a welcome packet of area information, your keys, and emergency contacts should you need assistance during your stay. Check-in is 2 PM or later. Check out is 11 AM. Early arrivals between 6 AM & 2 PM will be billed an additional half day charge to guarantee early arrival. If earlier check-in is required, an additional full day must be booked.
