The architect responsible for the remodeling has accentuated the unique design of the house, which consists of three separate wings on three different levels, each with its own patio, entrance, kitchen, living room, and private bath. This design allows two or three couples, or members of a large family, to have their own privacy, while the 'Great Room' draws people together to socialize.

HERON HILL has a large satellite dish and two small "Direct TV" dishes on the property. There is a large screen TV in the "Great Room", and another in the front parlor. There is also a VCR, as well as a CD player, a stereo, and extensive libraries of CD's, videotapes, and books are provided for your enjoyment.

Three patios with furniture; 50 steps down to the beach

There are many nice restaurants on Eleuthera. For example: Unique Village is located just down the beach from Heron Hill, has a nice restaurant, and also offers charter fishing. Cocodimama is also an Italian restaurant right on the beach in Receiver’s Bay Mate and Jenny's Pizza Restaurant and Bar is located at South Palmetto Point and offers a unique menu that includes grouper and crawfish (Bahamian lobster) (subject to availability), steak, conch, and sandwiches and full dinners. Rainbow Inn’s Seaside Bar and Restaurant serves fantastic native and continental dishes and features the largest menu on Eleuthera. Dolcevita at Rainbow Inn. Dolcevita means “Good Life” and the restaurant is a new and exciting Ethnic restaurant that also retains Bahamanian Specialties from the well known menu of the old Rainbow Inn Restaurant. Tippy’s is located two miles north of Heron Hill.

We request that this be a no smoking house. Pets may be included, but a Bahamian permit is required. There is a $500 security deposit for the main house and a $100 deposit for the apartment. Full linens and all amenities are included in the rental. Daily cook and maid service can be arranged for very reasonable additional fees. Car rental service is available.
